Mandy is a porcelain artist whose work explores elegance, precision, and movement through unique, ergonomic forms. Using the intricate nerikomi technique—layering and slicing coloured porcelain—she creates mesmerising, nature-inspired patterns that are entirely one-of-a-kind. Her minimalist aesthetic emphasises grace, balance, and the delicate strength of porcelain. Her innovative practice bridges creativity and technical mastery.
My porcelain works are designed to look graceful and minimalist, they conjure a feeling of lightness and a sense of movement. The signature mesmerizing patterns mimic the vivid diversity of nature, but are not painted on. Using Nerikomi method, the patterns are meticulously prepared by repeated cutting and layering of porcelain sheets. My hands-on approach ensures every pattern is unique and unrepeatable.
